Illustrated by Elihu Vedder. I have read that this was the first illustrated edition of Fitzgerald's translation. Bound in brown cloth with wonderful gilt artwork on the cover. This copy is the quarto edition of 1894. It was previously published in a large folio edition (1884) that is quite spectacular. It was published again in 1886 in a quarto edition.
